Goemaere nv
Goemaere nv is a modern pig slaughter house using the modern way of killing with CO2 and the latest slaughtering techniques +/- 15 000 pigs per week.
The slaughter house is built with an attached cutting plant, packing and own cold store facilities which ensure the whole process from slaughtering to sales meets the high standards of Goemaere nv which is able to provide all kind of pork meat cuts for retail, manufacturing and catering business.
Goemaere nv, has a long history in the meat business which dates back to 1947 when Mr & Mrs. Joseph Goemaere started their first butcher shop in Marke, Belgium and progressively build their own slaughter house.
The slaughter house was originally build in the industrial area of Moorsele but after it was completely destroyed in a fire it got rebuilt in the location of Mouscron (Moeskroen) and it has been operational since 1999.
In the group Goemaere nv there is a section for consumer packed products for Belgian Market, a plant in France where dried hams are made and the latest big investment a rendering plant.
The slaughter house isAuto Control and BRC certified with an active priority of Quality and an active team which is dedicated to secure and improve this goal.
