The Logistics Manager will be required to handle technical details relating to possibly international transportation, such as customs regulations and any necessary documentation

Major Responsibilities

  1. Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment
  2. Establish or monitor specific supply chain-based performance measurement systems
  3. Create policies or procedures for logistics activities
  4. Implement specific customer requirements, such as internal reporting or customized transportation metrics
  5. Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues
  6. Monitor product import or export processes to ensure compliance with regulatory or legal requirements
  7. Ensure carrier compliance with company policies or procedures for product transit or delivery
  8. Negotiate transportation rates or services
  9. Negotiate with suppliers or customers to improve supply chain efficiency or sustainability
  10. Direct inbound or outbound logistics operations, such as transportation or warehouse activities, safety performance, or logistics quality management
  11. Ensure proper implementation of quality system, proper documentation of procedures and completion of relevant forms

Position Qualifications
